Passenger Terms and Conditions

1. Booking Process
All journeys must be booked in advance via our official website or telephone line.
Our website is currently under development. Once launched, all booking features and policies will be accessible online.
No bookings are accepted via street hails or in person at the operating centre. Upon confirmation, passengers will receive an email including driver details, vehicle registration, and estimated time of arrival.
2. Driver Allocation
• Drivers are only dispatched once the booking is fully recorded and confirmed.
• All drivers are licensed by Transport for London (TfL) and meet regulatory standards.
• Passengers must ensure all booking details are correct prior to confirmation.
3. Cancellations
• Cancellations must be made at least 1 hour before the scheduled pick-up time to avoid charges.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee as outlined at the time of
booking.
4. Passenger Conduct
• Passengers are expected to behave respectfully and comply with driver instructions during the journey.
• Smoking, alcohol consumption, and abusive language are strictly prohibited.
5. Liability
• JASS LUXURY CARS is not liable for delays caused by external factors such as traffic, weather, or force majeure.
• In the event of a service issue, passengers should contact our support team via email or telephone within 24 hours.
6. Data Protection
• Personal information collected during the booking process is handled in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.
• No personal data is shared with third parties unless required by law.

Drivers Terms and Conditions

This contract governs the relationship between JASS LUXURY CARS and the drivers.
A. Driver Requirements & Responsibilities
- Must hold a valid PHV license issued by TfL.
- Must maintain valid insurance covering private hire operations.
- Vehicle must comply with TfL safety and emission standards.
- Commitment to professional conduct, including treating passengers with respect and following all road safety laws.
B. Booking & Operational Guidelines
- Drivers must accept and complete bookings in accordance with company policies.
- They must not accept street hails (as per TfL regulations, PHV drivers cannot pick up passengers without a booking).
- Clear rules on cancellations and no-shows, including any penalties for excessive cancellations.
C. Fares, Payments & Commission
- Explanation of fare calculation (metered, fixed, or dynamic pricing).
- Commission structure (e.g., percentage deducted from each fare).
- Payment schedule (e.g., weekly payouts to drivers).
- Handling of tips and service fees.
D. Complaints, Conduct & Disciplinary Actions
- Process for handling passenger complaints against drivers.
- Potential penalties, including suspension or termination for repeated violations.
- Rules on misconduct, including refusal to transport passengers based on discrimination.
E. Insurance & Liability
- Clarification that drivers must maintain valid PHV insurance.
- The company’s liability in case of accidents, disputes, or claims.
